Kindred Child Safety Standards
Last updated: September 10, 2026
1. Prohibited conduct and content
Kindred strictly prohibits content or conduct that sexually exploits, abuses, grooms, coerces, traffics, sextorts, or otherwise endangers a child or minor. Users may not create, upload, request, possess, share, promote, distribute, facilitate, or attempt to obtain CSAM through Kindred.
2. In-app reporting
Kindred provides an in-app reporting mechanism that allows users to report another user and select a reason for the report without leaving the app. Reports are submitted for review. Users should report suspected child-safety violations immediately. Situations involving immediate danger should also be reported to local emergency services or law enforcement.
3. Review and enforcement
Kindred reviews safety reports and takes appropriate action when prohibited content or conduct is identified. Depending on the circumstances, action may include restricting or terminating accounts, removing or disabling access to prohibited content where technically applicable, blocking users, preserving relevant information when legally required, and cooperating with competent authorities.
4. Response to CSAM
Kindred does not permit CSAM. After obtaining actual knowledge of suspected CSAM, Kindred will take appropriate action in accordance with these standards and applicable law. Confirmed prohibited material will not be knowingly allowed to remain available through Kindred.
5. Reporting confirmed CSAM to authorities
Kindred maintains a process for escalating confirmed CSAM cases to the appropriate child-safety or law-enforcement authority as required by applicable law. Where applicable, this may include reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant regional authority. Kindred will cooperate with valid legal requests and preserve information when legally required.
6. Compliance with child-safety laws
Kindred is committed to complying with applicable child-safety laws and regulations. Our response process includes receiving reports, reviewing reported conduct or content, taking appropriate enforcement action, and escalating confirmed CSAM to the appropriate authority where required.
7. Child-safety point of contact
Kindred designates a child-safety point of contact in Google Play Console. This contact is responsible for receiving potential notifications from Google Play concerning CSAE or CSAM and for coordinating review and enforcement action when required.
8. Scope and enforcement of these standards
These standards are part of Kindred's safety rules and apply regardless of a user's claimed age. Kindred will act in accordance with these published standards and applicable law. Violations may result in immediate restrictions or account termination.
