Author and responsibility
Kindred is published by Nadiia Honda, the project creator. Guides and tools may use AI-assisted drafting. The material offers practical suggestions; it does not replace legal, medical, psychological or emergency advice.
How topics are selected
Topics begin with a concrete reader problem: starting a conversation, finding recurring groups, arranging a safer meeting or maintaining a new friendship. Each article should offer actions a reader can realistically try, explain trade-offs and avoid guarantees about personal outcomes.
Originality and review
Articles are written specifically for Kindred. Before publication, they are checked for clarity, internal consistency, respectful language, privacy risks, misleading promises and overlap with existing guides. Demonstration stories and interface examples are labeled as examples.
AI assistance, examples and sources
AI is used to help draft, organise and revise some guides, message templates and planning tools. This does not mean that an expert reviewed every article or that the publisher personally attended each activity mentioned. Illustrative situations are examples, not testimonials or reported interviews. Local resource guides link to primary sources and give a check date; readers should confirm current schedules, fees and availability with the organiser. The planner and social-step tools use fixed suggestions, not live event data or predictions of social outcomes. Social Dice filters steps by the selected time and energy; time estimates exclude travel and booking. Daily records user-marked completions in the current browser. The preferences tool uses the choices entered on the page to suggest questions and an invitation; it does not calculate a matching score. Illustrative schedules are examples, not a promise that a group, venue or person is available.
Safety and sensitive topics
Safety guidance favors public first meetings, control of personal information, independent transport and respect for consent. General wellbeing articles include a clear boundary when professional or emergency support may be appropriate.
Corrections and updates
Publication and update dates appear on guides. Material is reviewed when site features change, when guidance becomes outdated or when a factual or safety concern is identified. Readers can send corrections privately through the Contact page. Reproducible technical issues that contain no personal information may also be reported through the public project issue tracker.
Latest practical updates
Berlin organiser pages rechecked; weekly date lists refreshed; local-group search phrases and three German directory routes added. The small-town and relocation guides now include worked planning examples. Calendar refreshes reuse published dates; source-review dates change only after the source has been read again.
11 October content review
Community descriptions now distinguish a public posting board from threaded discussion and clarify that meetup proposals and matching profiles depend on participation. Fixed friendship-development deadlines were removed. The loneliness and social-anxiety guides link to NHS information, identify illustrative planning ideas and state that they have not been clinically reviewed. Repeated sections and stale promotional counts were corrected. These edits describe the services and editorial limits; they are not a statement that Google has approved the site.
Advertising independence
Advertising does not determine article topics, conclusions or the order in which guides are recommended. Sponsored material, if ever published, will be clearly labeled. Ads are not intentionally placed so that they resemble navigation, editorial recommendations, download buttons or community actions.
